SEAN MCINTYRE as Mr. McCauley
A writer, screenwriter, playwright and producer (theatre, film), Sean McIntyre’s acting credits span across diverse genres in more than 50 short and feature films, many screening at highly esteemed international film festivals.
These include Best Film for two consecutive years at MUFF, while 'Monster Pies' became the only Australian film ever to win Best Feature film at Melbourne Queer film festival in its 23 years. ‘Sheborg Massacre’ screens at Comic-Con 2016.
Sean’s playwright/producer highlights: 'The Pickup', top 30 finalist from 1,100 plays - Short and Sweet, world’s largest short play festival (Melbourne, 2005 and Sydney, 2006, Dublin 2007); 'A Kind of Destiny’ (Andrew Bongiorno as JUDAS), finalist - Crash Test Drama (March, 2012); and ‘Lounge Theatre’ - 2012 Melbourne International Fringe Festival (The Butterfly Club), awarded 3 star review by The Age (Aust).
Selected for Melbourne Theatre Company's prestigious 2015 NEON Festival, his new work 'KIDS' performed to a sell-out audience. Inspired by 'Juegos A La Hora De La Siesta', by Polish-born Argentinean playwright Roma Mahieu (a critical, subversive and highly political commentary on the Argentinean dictatorship).
Sean is producing a TV series pilot: ‘The Contract’ (DOP, Damien Beebe). The pitch project is based on his own screenplay.
A past student of Oxford University (UK), Sean is Creative Producer of ‘A Fistful of Scripts’ (which he founded in 2010) and co-founder of Jimmy Flinders Productions (2012).
